    • Effects of preoperative carbohydrate loading on insulin resistance and gastrointestinal function in elderly trauma patients undergoing spinal anesthesia

    • In the field of postoperative rehabilitation for elderly trauma patients, experts from the Fourth Medical Center of the People's Liberation Army General Hospital have verified the positive effects of oral administration of simple carbohydrates 2 hours before surgery on shortening postoperative exhaust time, reducing insulin resistance, and protecting intestinal barrier function, providing a new plan for postoperative rehabilitation of elderly patients.
