Clinical characteristics of Klebsiella pneumoniae in adult intensive care unit: a nationwide multi-center cohort study in China
“According to the latest research, the independent risk factors for death in ICU patients with Klebsiella pneumoniae infection are age, high drug resistance rate, and low clinical efficacy rate. Patients with bloodstream infections have low clinical efficacy and high mortality rates. Abdominal and urinary tract infections are more likely to develop drug resistance.”
