Predictive value of dose-surface histogram for acute radiation proctitis in prostate cancer patients following radiotherapy
“In the field of prostate cancer treatment, experts from the Radiotherapy Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University have validated the predictive efficacy of dose surface area histogram (DSH) for acute radiation proctitis through a prospective randomized controlled clinical study. Similar to dose volume histogram (DVH), DSH provides a new approach for radiation therapy planning design.”
